The Principality of Andorra is an European State situated in the heart of Pyrenees. Of a surface of 468 km2, Andorra counts approximately 82.000 inhabitants. The length of the border which separates us from France is of 56,6km from the North in the East, whereas of the South on the West it is of 63,7km with Spain. The height weighted average of Andorra is of 1.996m. Andorra is divided into three valleys in the shape of Y, crossed by rivers Valira del North and Valira of East who unite to train(form) Gran Valira. The highest point is the peak of the Coma Pedrosa in 2.946m, most low is situated in the confluence of the river Runer with Gran Valira, in 840m. The Principality, because of its position in one of the high parts(parties) of Central Pyrenees has a climate of mountain, marked on one hand by the influences of the Atlantic Ocean as regards the precipitation, and the Mediterranean Sea for the clarity(brightness) of the atmosphere. Our climate is continental, cold in winter and warmth in summer. Temperatures: 2 ° C in 15 ° C in winter, 15 ° C approximately in spring, 25 ° C in 35 ° C in summer, 15 ° C in autumn.
