"Having lived in france for 33years, it is perhaps surprising that we (ds & i) have only justhad our first trip on a tgv. part of our excuse is that the tgvdidn't get anywhere near alsace for the first 30 of thoseyears. even if it had, the cost ofusing it with 2 adults & 4 kids would have been out of thequestion. not to mention that wehardly ever went anywhere we could have reached by tgvanyway. and usually had a trailer orat least a car-full of something or other as baggage. so whatchanged?..."
