The Villa L'Aimée is a lovingly restored belle-époque b&b. It has only three rooms but if you can bag one, they are excellent value. Set in the beautiful quartier of St Maurice at the base of Cimiez, Villa L'Aimée was built in 1929, during the Belle Époque era. It is situated in a quiet, private cul-de-sac overlooking the Parc Chambrun, enjoying wonderful views of the Temple de Diane and the city of Nice. With its cream facade, balustrades and paved garden, the villa retains its original feel and style, whilst providing every comfort for the discerning guest. -The Green Room has been decorated in a fresh blend of soft mint green damask and pale pink and mauve silks, giving a restful feel to this spacious and sunny south facing double bedroom with its own private balcony. With Egyptian cotton bedlinen and duck down feather pillows, they believe they have thought of every comfort for the guests. The en suite bathroom is tiled in natural stone and has a bath with shower, wash hand basin and lavatory. The Green Room can be made up as either a double bed or twin beds. -The Blue Room is a spacious, south facing double bedroom with its own private balcony, decorated in dusky pale blue damasks and pink silks. With original parquet floors and ceiling rose the belle époque style of the house is wonderfully set off by the colour scheme and the rich fabrics of the curtains and bed linen. The Blue Room has a beautiful private bathroom, tiled in pale creamy beige natural stone, equipped with bath with shower, hand basin and lavatory, and supplied with soft white towels and bathrobes. The Blue Room can be made up as either a double bed or twin beds. -The Gold room: This twin bedded room is beautifully decorated in soft golds, beiges and whites. With crisp white Egyptian cotton bedlinen and duck down feather pillows, every night you spend in this room will be a real pleasure. The en suite shower room is tiled in natural stone, decorated and furnished to the same tasteful standard as the Gold Room itself. The Villa l'Aimée is a 5 min walk to Place Alexandra Médicin with all its amenities including 2 banks, pharmacy, boucherie, boulangerie, traiteur and excellent Spar shop, as well as 3 café's and very good pizza van. A further 5 min walk will take you down to the tram which takes you into the centre in 5 mins at the cost of 1 euro and passes via the main SNCF station and then goes on to the bus station so, getting to and from Nice is simple, and clients can easily access all the surrounding towns without having to hire a car. Set on the ground floor of Villa L'Aimée is a self-contained apartment with independent entrance has a light and spacious feel with its comfortable furnishings.
